Well last Thursday we started gymnastics and well, it wasn't wonderful by a long mile! Berkley did NOT want me to leave at all and when I finally did, she still didn't quit crying! I am hoping that with time she will get better so that this will be a fun experience for her! Afterwards she was able to show me everything that Kisa was telling them to do so I know she was listening but it is just going to take a little time I think! But, I must say, her attitude stunk, but at least she looked pretty snazzy!
This Saturday we went to the Apple Butter Festival at the apple orchard in Idalou! It was a blast except for the fact that it was a little warm! Berkley enjoyed herself and really liked the fact that she could pick her own apples! She also loved the animals they had at the petting zoo!
Jack turned 6 months old on Saturday. I tried some macaroni and cheese and then turkey and rice with him and he was not a fan of either! Last night he got sweet potatoes and turkey and seemed to enjoy it more. We go on the 23rd for a doctor's appointment; Berk's two-year and Jack's six month. I imagine that "chubs" is every bit of 20 lbs and it would really surprise me if he is less than that! Berk isn't supposed to get any shots but I think I am going to go ahead and have the kids get their flu shots since it is getting to be that time! Here are some snapshots of the big guy!
Not a fan of mac-n-cheese!
You think she has learned a thing or two about taking care of a baby?!
Just call me "thunder thighs!"
Silly girl!
Hmmm.....
Yes, Jack, your feet will be that big before we know it!
Have a great rest of the week! We are headed to a funeral tomorrow and then out of town on Friday. My sister and I have decided to run the 5K Race for the Cure in Wichita in October in honor of a wonderful man who was extremely courageous in his battles! I am looking forward to honoring this man in any way possible!
