Well February just flew by; it was like I blinked and it was gone! We had a lot go on in February, so maybe that is why it went so fast. Anyway here is a quick run down of all the things that happened in February, minus pictures because right now I am just concerned about documenting (there will be pics in the next post I promise!)
February 4- Took the kids to see the doctor because both had nasty coughs and Jack was wheezing so I was getting ready for some breathing treatments and diagnosises of RSV and a cold. Well much to my surprise, Dr. Key went ahead and tested both for the flu (which I told him was a waste of my money because NEITHER had been running fever), and BOTH came back positive. So, after plenty of money at the clinic and the pharmacy, plus a week out of daycare and me a week out of work, they got much better! I really wouldn't have ever thought the flu because the symptoms were so atypical. But, I guess that's why I'm no doctor! (Jack weighed 25.1 lbs, at this visit and Berk was 34 lbs.)
February 12- Mom and Dad came in and brought Berk her big girl bedroom suit! Since we didn't have a key to the storage builiding we weren't able to put it in there and just wait, so she got moved faster than we intended! Needless to say, I think she was ready since she constantly climbed into and out of her bed! She has really made the adjustment well and only fell out on the first night! She typically does good and stays in bed but there are those nights! :)
February 14- Jack started walking, like WALKING, everywhere. We had just had the discussion that weekend about whether Jack would be walking by his first birthday and I told my dad I didn't think so because he is so darn lazy! Well, to my surprise, he started and is now going NONSTOP!
February 20-Jack got another tooth on the bottom left. He now has three on bottom and four on top!
February 24-28- Thad went to his annual Phoenix NASCAR race with the guys and I got to spend lots of quality time with the kiddos! I enjoyed spending the time with the kids, but was so ready for Thad to be home and have some help plus that big peace of mind that comes with your husband being home!
February 28- I hired someone to come and clean my house every other Monday because it had become such a nuissance. So the lady came the first week and everything went wonderfully and I enjoyed my clean house. Well, this time she came and started cleaning and when I got home from work all the cleaning stuff was still out but she was nowhere to be found. My phone rang after about an hour of being home and totally puzzled and the lady's mother called and said that my cat ATTACKED her! I could not believe this because he is typically so sweet. But he had been a little testy when my mom and dad were there so there is no telling. Thankfully she didn't quit and came back that Wednesday and finished where she left off! I must say that it is the BEST investment I have ever made!!
Well Jack turns a YEAR old tomorrow so there will be another post, but I wanted to update on February! Hope everyone is having a wonderful week and I am so looking forward to Spring Break!!
