So, we had Jack's birthday on the first Saturday of Spring Break thinking that it would be a great idea, well it was a great idea because lots of people got to come, but it was a BAD idea because we also had SO much going on that weekend and that day. First, the Thursday before we got out for Spring Break, it was my turn to host BUNCO so I did it dutifully and had a great time doing it! Then, Saturday morning I helped host a baby shower from 10:30-12:00 and then I booked it back to the house and finished readying the house for the party. After our party, Berk's "boyfriend" Bryson was having his 3rd birthday starting at 5. Needless to say, it was a CRAZY Saturday full of friends and family. For Jack's birthday I decided to go with baseball because he LOVES balls (I thought about all sports but then I would have just gone even more overboard!) I think the baseball theme really turned out cute and I found him the CUTEST outfit from McCall's here in Lamesa. (I don't have a picture of him in it on here because my card for my other camera crashed midway through the party; hence the crappy quality of some of the pictures!) But we had a great time and it might have been a little "over the top," but they only have a first birthday once right?! I got all of the printable stuff from a shop on Etsy called "Dimple Prints" and this lady creates banners, cards, toppers, ANYTHING and you just print and assemble! LOVED IT and will use it again! So here are the pictures and hopefully I will put some more up as I get them from others! When we took Jack to the doctor on the 14th his one-year stats are 27 lbs. 2 oz. and 30.5 inches long. He was in the 90th percentile for everything and she said that he is going to be tall! We pulled out Berk's stats and he was the same length and he had her beat by 2 lbs. on the weight; but they are pretty comparable because she started out 2 lbs. lighter! Anyway enjoy the pics!

***These first two pics are out of order because it was being stubborn and wouldn't let me move them, so sorry for the scatteredness!***
My Great Aunt Leta and her son Gary-they live in Lubbock and I really do need to do a better job of visiting them!
Nana and Papa
Refreshment stand: juice boxes, sodas and water with cups and ice. (My printables package did have printables for the drinks but by that time, I was DONE!) The ice bucket (the red metal thing in the picture) was $5 from the Dollar Store.
Fireplace mantel decoration! I loved seeing all the baseballs!

Concession stand! Our dining room was PERFECT for this and the table worked great! The inflatable balls were part of their favors, the picture frame by the cake played pictures of Jack from birth and the snacks were in the metal buckets with labels (buckets from Hobby Lobby and labels on dowels) The cake of course was done by Gran!
A close up of the cake and the cute banner on the table.
SNACKS! You can see a FEW of the baseball cookies that I made! I tried to keep some of the snacks kid-friendly and others "baseball-themed;" peanuts, cracker jacks.
Favor table; the favor bags had a bunch of baseball "junk" in them from Oriental Trading! Then I had a ball that I wanted everyone to sign and I am going to put it in a baseball case in Jack's room.
More favors! Don't you know the parents LOVED me! :)
Jack getting ready for his cake!
Up close and personal with the cake! (his cake is the baseball on the top!)
I love this picture because the picture frame is playing one of the pictures of RIGHT after Jack was born!
With the "1" candle! :(
Not quite sure about the cake...
Berk KNOWS all about this...
Ok I think I like this stuff...
Oh, I DEFINITELY LIKE THIS STUFF!
Jayden thinks that Jack will share his food!! HAHA
Uncle Derrick is under the same impression (have they LOOKED at this kid lately?!)
Ah yes, now we are talking!
He is sweet enough to offer some to mama though! :)
DELICIOUS! And Thad did get to give the traditional birthday cake bath afterwards!
Garron & Kristin and baby Madison!
Getting ready to open presents; this was about the extent of how much he helped!
Unless we FORCED him to sit and open them, he wanted nothing to do with them!
Oh, but some many others were willing to help!
